FRESHWELD production facilities operate with a strong awareness of energy efficiency. For example, in our eco-friendly manufacturing plants, roof lighting systems are designed to maximize natural daylight while minimizing heat transfer into the building. They are also engineered to prevent direct glare on workers’ eyes and can be remotely controlled to provide additional air circulation when needed.
For periods when natural daylight is not available, we use 90W lighting fixtures instead of the traditionally widespread 400W mercury vapor fixtures. These fixtures deliver the same level of ground illumination while achieving 140 kW energy savings per hour since the very first day of our factory’s operation.
In our facilities, dust and fumes generated during production processes are captured and filtered by FRESHWELD Fume Extraction Systems. This prevents the release of pollutants into the external environment and minimizes workers’ exposure to harmful dust.
Eco-Friendly Manufacturing
At FRESHWELD, eco-friendly manufacturing is an integral part of our production philosophy. We continuously invest in energy-efficient technologies, sustainable facility design, and advanced air filtration solutions to minimize environmental impact. By reducing energy consumption, controlling industrial emissions, and maintaining a healthier workplace, we support responsible manufacturing practices that contribute to both environmental sustainability and occupational health.
Nevertheless, residual dust may accumulate over time, especially on the floors. For cleaning, daily maintenance is carried out using electrically powered industrial floor sweepers and industrial vacuum cleaners.
