On-Torch Fume Extraction Units are advanced solutions designed to capture and filter high concentrations of fumes, gases, and micro-particles directly at the welding torch during welding operations. Engineered by FRESHWELD, these systems are adaptable to various production setups — from robotic welding cells to manual welding stations.
They function through specially positioned suction heads or modular duct lines located close to the torch area, effectively isolating the welding zone and preventing fumes from spreading into the workspace.
This ensures optimal respiratory safety for operators and protects surrounding machinery. High-performance extraction fans and optional filtration configurations deliver superior airflow and filtration efficiency.
FRESHWELD Torch Fume Extraction Systems can be equipped with Activated Carbon, HEPA, Disposable Filters, or Jet-Pulse Cleaning Mechanisms. This enables the system to control both chemical gases (e.g., ozone, nitrogen oxides) and particulate welding fumes. Depending on user requirements, systems are available as portable modules or fixed installations.
All models are designed in accordance with HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) standards, as well as environmental and industrial air quality regulations. Filtered air is recirculated with high efficiency, providing significant energy savings and low operating costs — securing both worker safety and process integrity.
