Oil Mist Filters are designed to extract and purify large volumes of contaminated air containing oil mist, micro-particles, and toxic fumes suspended in the atmosphere.

Boron Oil

A versatile metalworking fluid used in machining various industrial metals (such as cutting and grinding), typically mixed with 5–10% water. It extends the life of CNC cutting tools, improves machining performance, and reduces scrap rates.

Cutting Oil

Forms a thin lubricating layer between the cutting tool and the workpiece, reducing friction. This friction reduction, combined with cooling of the deformation zone, minimizes heat generation and ensures better machining control.

While these lubricants are essential for CNC machinery and equipment, they also pose environmental and occupational health hazards.

During CNC operations, the friction generated in the machining process can cause these lubricants to overheat and vaporize into oil mist. Boron Oil and Cutting Oil are commonly used in turning, milling, grinding, planing, drawing, drilling, boring, cutting, and threading applications.

Current occupational health and safety regulations require the immediate extraction and filtration of toxic fumes and gases to ensure a healthy and productive work environment.

How Does an Oil Mist Filter Work?

✅Contaminated air containing oil and fine solid particles is extracted from the CNC machine enclosure. Using the vacuum generated by the centrifugal fan of the mist collector, it is drawn through the inlet into the filtration system.

✅The system utilizes the principle of coalescence, where small oil droplets merge to form larger, heavier droplets for easier separation.

✅The air is forced through the filtration chamber from the inside to the outside, ensuring complete removal of airborne contaminants.

✅Oil droplets separated from the airstream are left untreated and can therefore be collected for recycling and reuse.

✅A continuously “over-pressurized” drainage pipe efficiently collects the recondensed oil mist.
