Idrodust Compact D is a compact dirty air scrubbing system developed for industrial dust, vapor and particle removal, operating with water-based hydrodynamic dust collection filtration technology. By mixing contaminated air with water at a micro level, it provides highly efficient filtration while offering a safe, efficient and low-maintenance solution. Thanks to the integrated sludge scraper / sludge removal system, sediments accumulated at the bottom of the tank are automatically removed, supporting continuous and reliable system operation.
Product Description
Idrodust Compact D is a high-performance wet scrubber system designed for the removal of dust, fumes and similar contaminants generated in industrial processes. Thanks to its hydrodynamic operating principle, the extracted contaminated air is brought into controlled contact with water, allowing particles to be effectively removed from the air stream.
With its compact structure, the system can be easily positioned in limited spaces while delivering high operational efficiency. At the same time, its low maintenance requirement contributes to uninterrupted plant operation. Providing a safe filtration alternative in applications where fire and explosion risks are critical makes the system a powerful solution for many industrial sectors. The sludge scraper / sludge removal mechanism automatically collects and discharges accumulated waste at the bottom of the tank, simplifying maintenance processes and helping prevent unplanned downtime.
Working Principle
1. Pre-Filtration Stage
The extracted contaminated air first passes through a pre-chamber equipped with spray nozzles. In this section, large and heavy particles are separated and settle at the bottom of the tank. This improves the efficiency of the following filtration stages.
2. Venturi Micro Filtration
In the next stage, the air is exposed to high-speed turbulence within the Venturi throat. In this area, intensive micro-mixing with water is created, enabling the capture of fine particles. The second nozzle line further enhances the filtration performance.
3. Droplet Separator and Clean Air Outlet
At the end of the filtration process, the air passes through a droplet separator unit. This section separates water droplets carried within the airflow. As a result, the cleaned air is safely directed to the outlet. The integrated cleaning system also simplifies maintenance operations.
4. Automatic Sediment Discharge
Sludge and sediments accumulated inside the system are automatically collected from the bottom of the tank through the integrated sludge scraper / sludge removal mechanism and directed to the discharge point. This structure allows the system to operate efficiently for longer periods and reduces the need for manual cleaning.
